Use Your Instinct

Once I went to turkey, this is special traveling because usually I travel with my friends when I go far, but this time I travel alone. What I would like to bring in is the story about using your instinct because  a lot of thing will happened when you traveling to places that you never been before, sometimes cultures are different and you have to prepare where you wanna go exactly, how to get there. Before you go, prepare the detail and very thorough.

So the story goes like this. When I went to turkey, my first destination is Cappadocia, where you can take hot air ballon with the beautiful view like you are in the moon, one of the star wars movie shooting taken place. Some places such as : Ihlara Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar Castle, Derinkuyu Underground. To get there I need to change my flight from Ataturk International Airport to the domestic one, Instanbul S Gokcen Airport. I have the time in between before I continue to the next flight and I was planned to visit The famous Blue Mosque. I decided to take the train to get there. I bought the ticket/ the coins they named it Jeton,

On the train, I met two guys, had good conversation and share our experience. After couple stops, there are another guy come along approached us and he would show to us the way to get to the Blue Mosque. "We have to get out in the next stops", he said. Well I just followed them without thinking much. I just followed them because we already have such connection. We talked and I was thinking maybe he knows better about the area. So I get out , go down from the train. But after seconds, I have mix feeling and question: "are they correct?' I immediately scan the area (like matrix movie) and I just realize this station pretty quite, that not many people there, view ladies, and some are locals. And then I saw my map and try to match the location with the map to know how far this station from The Blue Mosque. But, the fact is Blue Mosque is still 8 stops a head.

After that I decided not to follow them, maybe they are up to something no good. I saw the three guys talked and then one of guy came to me and said “lets go we are going to the other platform through the tunnel” , I though its funny, because that’s the way back to our first started. I looked at the tunnel and my instinct said "I just don’t want to go with them. I don’t have the time because I have to catch the other plane. It might be wrong, I don’t wanna get my self into trouble." And then I said "No thank you, sorry I am not going with you guys, I will wait here and continue with the other train. Nice to meet you all and have a nice trip." And then they off they go. And after that I approached local people and standed besides them while I was waiting for the next train.

I feel that I was correct, I feel really good, I made that decision not to follow them. I’m glad that I follow my instinct so I’m safe.

Just left that unique story behind. Then Im happy Im back to the train again, continue my trip and I enjoy this super beautiful city.

Simple Life does Exist.

Now I would like to share my thinking about the life that we live today in the big city, we are live in hectic life now a days, full of target, full of expectation. In big city, you can see a lot of properties, luxurious cars, big houses, everything you do you have to pay, everything you want you have to pay. Eventhough you drive, you turn back your car, you have to pay pak ogah, right? Nothing is free in big city.

But different story, if I compare big city to village or smaller city. The simple life does exist. Through my experience when I went to Bali. Me and my friend, we rode motorbike. We were enjoying holiday, we went to empty beach in nusa dua, they called it Geger Beach.

The beautiful scenery of Geger Beach. Selfie is not the Purpose :p

While we were about back home. Suddenly our motorbike died.

What happened?

We tried to analyze, and then we realize that we saw the wrong gauge at motorbike. Because in the car full is on the right but this time full is on the left , so right is empty. (poor us

We can not move on anymore.

We were somewhere in the village, near the beach, and then we saw some village people sitting there, just resting after take care of the land of their land owner.

We approached them and we told them that we have a problem with gasoline.
They laughed and asked why? We told them the story. And I’m surprised that one of people offered us :  "How about I go and I buy gasoline for you." Wow that’s a kind man. And then I give him the money to get gasoline. After couple minutes he came back and he brought  2 liters of gasoline and we filled up the gas. After that he tried to give the change back to us. I said: "no no no you can keep it". And then he said: "no no I am only happy to help you." he smiled. Then I said : "Ya, thank you but just keep it,  just give the money for your kids."

His face looks so grateful when I said that. And then he asked his kids to come to him and said "Nak, this is money for your school tomorrow."

It's so touching me. The point is they didn't ask for money, they didn't ask something to return. They purely just want to help you.

=================================================================================================

That’s only one story, another experience I had. This is similar experience that I miss in the big city. When I went to Lombok, I love Lombok expecially in gili trawangan. The beach is so gorgeous. I was walking on the beach and I have a temptation to swim like everyone else. But my biggest concern is I have wallet and I have cellphone. I don’t now anyone there and there is no locker, nothing.

And then I went to small waroeng, and said : can I leave my belonging here? The Guy said, "Oh Yes" with big smile, so welcoming. "it's oke, just hanging it here, it will be safe." I even didn't buy anything there, without a doubt I left my stuff there at the place where exposed to everybody, still in my mind said: "Can I trust this person?"

After 2 hours I swam, I came back and then suprisely, everything is still Intact. Perfect. I thanked to the guys, Im very happy, I smiled and felt just want to give something. I was about pull up my wallet and eittss he stopped me and said : "No its fine, you don’t need to give me anything, I didn’t do anything to you."

He even said: "You know we are people in Lombok, we promise that we should help you to feel comfortable, make sure you feel secure. We are so happy you are here. So you don’t need to do that."

"Ok ok im sorry". I'm surprise again.. "Well I appreciate it, thank you" then i leave. Im happy.

From there I learned something. Simple life is still exist. People happy to help others. People help you without asking something to return. That’s why I would like to back again visit the place like that, just to realize that different life, simpe life does still exist. I also encourage all of you to get out there, to feel it and to do the same thing.

Running & Put Myself Into The Race

Hi Everyone,

I would like to share to you about my hobby. Im interested on this kind of sport.

Do you know the most popular sport in Indonesia for the last two years? Yes, running.

I would like to share when and why I started running.
Some people said, running, It can help you strong, health, happy and also for young lady like me, it will help to getting better shape :)

2 years a go, one of my friend asked me to run there in Puncak, Bogor: “bring your shoes and your stuff, we will run in puncak." It happened, at 5 am we took angkot to Puncak. And we started run in the little hill. That’s my first experience, they introduced me running on the ground, loose soil & grass, not only on the road or treadmill in the gym. My friend told me hey c’mon don’t run like walking in the mall. Watch your step, put your feet up the ground, lift your leg, make the leapI keep my feet moving up the hills and down from slow moving to get faster. Change the uncomfortable became enjoy. I realize I can enjoy it, especially when I looked at the view around me, beautiful scenery, beautiful sunrise, fresh air, put yourself on the green field, peacefull feeling with beautiful misty morning. The most important thing, I can make nice pictures with background mountain behind. I love to do my favourite pose, jump and make a levitation, and if you can take a picture at the right angle, I can make a giant leap and I can get a picture "Jump Up The Mountain. I fall in love right at the intance.

From there I continue participate in any kind of trail running and races. Last year I ran in Mt. Pancar, Mt. Gede, Kawah Ratu Mt Salak and Mt Rinjani. I enjoy relaxing on the grass after run, go up and sleep in Surya Kencana Mt Gede, or I enjoy when I stand up at Mt. Rinjani and the moment when my eyes straight to the cloud and amaze with the view of the land and the lake down there. Also my experince by follow the race.

Hiduplah Indonesia Raya.

Everytime I listen Hiduplah Indonesia Raya, I remember the time before I started running race. I waited behind the start line with my heart beat goes really fast. You know what, that’s the mix feeling, you feel scare and excited, because when the end of the song, the race director going to pull up the flag and everyone have to run as fast they can like crazy.

If we talk about race. That’s is one thing that makes me run and train my self, is when I register in from of computer. Look at the event, thinking should I participate of this running event or not. Am I ready? It is always come to my mind. If I ask me I think im not ready,  never be ready, but I click submit anyway.

One moment, I started it from when I clicked on the registration. Oh my god that is the time for me now to get ready for the race. From that moment almost every morning I woke up, I run. By doing the race keep me movitated. Race is a challenging, push your body to the limit, how far you can go and how fast you can go. Instead of back to sleep, "maybe later", Nope, because I already give my commitment to race at that time I registered it.  I stand up, I woke up early and moving get exercise, Sometimes 5 km, 10 km, I push my self to know my limit. And you know what, not only me and actually some people ever experienced this : for example your target is 10km but in 7km your muscle getting ache, fast breath and when your mind working : "One side I wanna stop, go to warung or indomaret get a drink. And the other one says keep moving, that’s only a valve alarm, Its not true, your body will recover and getting better soon." Fiuhh

Anyway besides running, I also work on my core, muschle, and upper body as well as my leg. Because running is not only your strength leg, but also strong core because if you swing, your core is working. It’s a good thing because continue doing that all exercises being able to make me strong, health and happy, well sometimes pain. I wonder why people like tortured themself, like I am doing :p

So by doing all that, the race keep me motivated. Keep thinking of the race make me wake up early in morning just  think about I have to train my self. If I don’t have a goal or target in the race or not join any race then its gonna be hard for me to wake up in the morning to start training. That’s why for my self , I need to put my self into that situation you gonna keep going in life to stay healty, to stay motivated, not give up easily and happy. So the ultimate goals is happiness when you reached “the finish line”.

NB :
Running could be the one hobby for you, give it a try. You might like it or you might not like it.
But I guarantee, by doing running, it will bring you happiness and healthy life style.

Thank you
