Simple Life does Exist.

Now I would like to share my thinking about the life that we live today in the big city, we are live in hectic life now a days, full of target, full of expectation. In big city, you can see a lot of properties, luxurious cars, big houses, everything you do you have to pay, everything you want you have to pay. Eventhough you drive, you turn back your car, you have to pay pak ogah, right? Nothing is free in big city.

But different story, if I compare big city to village or smaller city. The simple life does exist. Through my experience when I went to Bali. Me and my friend, we rode motorbike. We were enjoying holiday, we went to empty beach in nusa dua, they called it Geger Beach.

The beautiful scenery of Geger Beach. Selfie is not the Purpose :p

While we were about back home. Suddenly our motorbike died.

What happened?

We tried to analyze, and then we realize that we saw the wrong gauge at motorbike. Because in the car full is on the right but this time full is on the left , so right is empty. (poor us

We can not move on anymore.

We were somewhere in the village, near the beach, and then we saw some village people sitting there, just resting after take care of the land of their land owner.

We approached them and we told them that we have a problem with gasoline.
They laughed and asked why? We told them the story. And I’m surprised that one of people offered us :  "How about I go and I buy gasoline for you." Wow that’s a kind man. And then I give him the money to get gasoline. After couple minutes he came back and he brought  2 liters of gasoline and we filled up the gas. After that he tried to give the change back to us. I said: "no no no you can keep it". And then he said: "no no I am only happy to help you." he smiled. Then I said : "Ya, thank you but just keep it,  just give the money for your kids."

His face looks so grateful when I said that. And then he asked his kids to come to him and said "Nak, this is money for your school tomorrow."

It's so touching me. The point is they didn't ask for money, they didn't ask something to return. They purely just want to help you.

That’s only one story, another experience I had. This is similar experience that I miss in the big city. When I went to Lombok, I love Lombok expecially in gili trawangan. The beach is so gorgeous. I was walking on the beach and I have a temptation to swim like everyone else. But my biggest concern is I have wallet and I have cellphone. I don’t now anyone there and there is no locker, nothing.

And then I went to small waroeng, and said : can I leave my belonging here? The Guy said, "Oh Yes" with big smile, so welcoming. "it's oke, just hanging it here, it will be safe." I even didn't buy anything there, without a doubt I left my stuff there at the place where exposed to everybody, still in my mind said: "Can I trust this person?"

After 2 hours I swam, I came back and then suprisely, everything is still Intact. Perfect. I thanked to the guys, Im very happy, I smiled and felt just want to give something. I was about pull up my wallet and eittss he stopped me and said : "No its fine, you don’t need to give me anything, I didn’t do anything to you."

He even said: "You know we are people in Lombok, we promise that we should help you to feel comfortable, make sure you feel secure. We are so happy you are here. So you don’t need to do that."

"Ok ok im sorry". I'm surprise again.. "Well I appreciate it, thank you" then i leave. Im happy.

From there I learned something. Simple life is still exist. People happy to help others. People help you without asking something to return. That’s why I would like to back again visit the place like that, just to realize that different life, simpe life does still exist. I also encourage all of you to get out there, to feel it and to do the same thing.
